Some insurance companies provide discounts to homeowners for communities that are part of the Firewise Program. Most will ask that you provide them with a copy of the Firewise Certificate.: OV 2026 Certificate
Also note that the California FAIR plan provides a 10% discount for Olympic Valley being a Firewise Community. FAIR also provides discounts for implementing both structure home hardening and surroundings protection (Zone o and Zone 1) at your property.
